Missouri River Snow Storm

Great fishing in a Montana spring snowstorm! I was scheduled to fish the Bitterroot River, but rain and snowmelt had drastically raised the river overnight. John Way, owner, outfitter, and guide of The tackle Shop, suggested we fish the Missouri River instead. When we arrived it was snowing dime-sized flakes sideways and the temperature was 30 degrees. We fished for almost 9 hours. My hands were cold, but the fishing was exccellent. I caught 18 to 20 trout 15 inches to 20 inches. John’s knowledge of the river, and his friendly competence made the day enjoyable.
