Madison River Fishing Report
Well it has happened. We knew the 80 degree days would catch up with us eventually. It has.
The continued spring like weather brings great fishing to the Madison River. The fish are happy and the water is cold so it is a good time to be a fisherman in Montana. Nymphing will keep the rod bent most of the day. Standard spring fare of stone flies, worms, BWO nymphs and eggs will keep you into fish.
Fishing report for the Madison River Ennis Montana April 14th 2017. The river as a whole has been fishing fairly well. It is still mostly a nymphing game with worm and egg patterns still being the most productive. but the water temperatures have started to reach the high 40's through out the day.
