John Way has spent the last 16 years outfitting and guiding fly fishing trips across Montana. Currently the owner of The Tackle Shop, you will find John's personality bigger than life.

Steve Adams
Steve is our resident Ruby River Specialists. He splits his summer between working in the
fly shop and guiding all of our wade fishing trips on the Ruby. He is one of the most excited and entertaining
guides we have ever been around. His
passion for the outdoors spans 35 years in Montana. When he is not guiding you can find him with
his wonderful wife and horses riding some lonesome ridge looking for sign of
his next tasty critter to get come fall.

Felipe 'Nikki' Acosta
Felipe or Nikki as everyone calls him hails from Ennis, guide royalty. His dad was a 30 year veteran guide on the Madison River and although Nikki is young he has more float trips down the Madison than many guides twice his age. A valued shop staff member, Nikki splits time in the shop and out on the river during the summer. During the winter Nikki is a student at Montana State University in Bozeman. Everyone loves Nikki's youthful approach and can do attitude as well as his ability to find fish.

Bill Youngs
After teaching school for 30 years Bill moved to the Madison Valley to pursue his one true love of flyfishing. Shortly after arriving Bill melded his fishing love with teaching and became a guide. For the past 12 years Bill has guided fly fishermen on the Madison River. Bill is a great teacher, loves being on the water, and tells a really good joke.

Jerry Schildroth
Growing up in Michigan Jerry has been fly fishing all of his life and has spent the last 18 years guiding fly fishermen. Jerry had the honor of being awarded the "2000 Orvis freshwater guide of the year". Jerry fills his winter as a PSIA certified ski instructor.

R.J. Cain
RJ Cain has been Laughing, Learning & Professionally teaching fly fishing for 34 years on the Madison river & many other area waters. From Celebrities to Children, RJ always enjoys sharing his passion for fly fishing. Having Fun is how RJ gets it done! For a wonderful day on the water while learning about fly fishing, RJ is a sure hookup. While growing up in Ennis and graduating from college in Bozeman, the fly fishing has always kept him close to the water!

Chris Connor
Chris and his family call the Madison Valley home. Chris has been guiding fly fishermen for the past 30 years and has spent the last 12 years guiding southwest Montana and Yellowstone National Park. Chris works well with both the novice and the most seasoned fisherman and is a patient instructor.

Mike Horner
A man of many hats prior to coming to Montana in 2001, Mike was a professional rock hound, sawmill foreman and steelhead guide in Oregon. Mike now lives full time in the Madison Valley and dedicates his life to being a fly fishing and hunting guide. Equally good with beginners and advanced fisherman, Mike's calm demeanor and patient teaching skills make him in demand. When not guiding Mike can be found hunting furry critters, shed antlers, cool rocks or anything else that gets him outside in the beautiful Madison Valley. Favorite Madison Fly: Shiny Sheep Monkey

Mike "Dirty" Elliott
Mike is one of the most excited fly fisherman we have ever seen. A native Montana boy who lives to be outside. He is one of the newest guides from our shop and we are looking forward to watching him become a regular. He has spent the last several years guiding summer fishing trips in Slough Creek in Yellowstone National Park and the falls leading elk hunting trips as well as running wilderness hunting camps. Mike will keep you tuned in, excited and laughing all day. A great fisherman, oarsman and all around outdoorsman, Mike is a joy to be on the river with. When not on the river with guests Mike can not be found as he is fishing, hunting or looking for shed antlers.

Mike Worley
Mike has been a resident of Ennis for the past 30 years. He has guided and outfitted on many of western Montana's rivers over the past 16 years. Mike enjoys teaching people as much as he enjoys fishing himself. If you are a novice or a seasoned pro, like to float fish or get out and wade occasionally, fish dry, wet or streamers, Mike can make your fishing trip enjoyable and memorable. J. T. France
A third generation Montana Outfitter, J. T. started his guiding career 32 years ago at the age of 16. He is the only Outfitter permitted by the BLM to commercially fish the Bear Trap Canyon of the Madison. If J.T. is not on the water with clients, you can usually find him fishing with family and friends.

Charlie "CJ" Rock
Charlie has been fishing Montana's best trout streams for the past 20 years. He found his true love for people and guiding in his home state of Missouri, chasing trophy whitetails and Monster browns on Arkansas, North Fork river. Now proud to call one of Montana's most productive trout fishing rivers "The Madison my summer home"

Charles Graham
Charlie "Charles P." Graham was born in Billings, Montana and has lived his life in the Rocky Mountain region. Introduced to fishing when he was 12 he has been casting flies since. Charlie only applied to one college, MSU Bozeman, because it is the only school near the Madison river. Although he is a tried and true troutbum, Charlie loves the salt when he can make it and has recently acquired a nasty steelhead addiction. Beginner friendly and hard working, Charlie will pass his passion and addiction onto you.

Jim Allison
Jim Allison has been guiding on the Madison since 1986. His first love is the dry fly, but stripping streamers is also fun and productive. Jim can find the fish and he also knows the other rivers in our area well.
